From a Small Local Business to a Trusted Cleaning Company

Charlottesville Cleaning Service began more than 15 years ago with a simple idea: to provide dependable, thorough cleaning services while treating every home and facility with the same care and attention we would want for our own.

Heather originally started the company as a small, family-owned and operated business focused primarily on residential homes and small office cleanings. What began as a very small operation quickly grew through word of mouth as clients shared their experiences with friends, families, businesses, and others throughout the Charlottesville area.

That trust became the foundation of our company.

Before starting Charlottesville Cleaning Service, Heather had begun pursuing studies in nursing and science. As she began thinking about starting a family, she also wanted to create a business that would allow for a more flexible schedule while providing a meaningful service to others.

Cleaning and organizing came naturally to her. She has always enjoyed creating organized, comfortable, and well-maintained spaces, and she found genuine satisfaction in doing work where the results could be seen and felt.

As the business continued to grow, the demand eventually became more than one person could manage. That's when Heather and her husband, Brandon, made the decision to go all in.

Brandon left a career in vineyard management, where he had worked for more than seven years, to join Heather full-time and help build Charlottesville Cleaning Service into what it is today.

Since then, the company has continued to grow from a small residential cleaning business into a trusted cleaning provider serving a wide range of clients and facilities throughout the Charlottesville area.

Today, our experience includes government facilities, educational facilities, museums, medical facilities, retail businesses, restaurants, offices, commercial properties, residential homes, and real estate clients.

We also work with real estate professionals to prepare homes for market and showings, and we are proud to have earned the trust of Realtors who regularly recommend our services to their clients.

Built Through Trust & Experience

Over the years, we've had the privilege of building long-term relationships with many of our clients. Some have trusted us with their spaces for more than 10 years, and many of the relationships we've developed have continued steadily over the years.

We've also expanded our capabilities to serve government facilities, including maintaining active clearances for certain government cleaning projects and continuing to expand our qualifications so that we can provide additional services.

As the company has grown, one thing has never changed: We care about the quality of every job we do.

We believe a cleaning company should do more than simply show up and complete a checklist. We take the time to understand each client's specific needs, communicate clearly, respond promptly to questions and requests, and tailor our services to the space and situation.

We believe in thorough cleaning, attention to detail, and final inspections to make sure the work meets our standards before we consider the job complete.
